Production Worker- Operator

JOBSUMMARY
This positionwill be ensuring product is being manufactured to meet the quality standards overseeing their assignedareaand reporting any issues to thelead orsupervisorimmediately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply withSafety Policiesand Procedures

• Regular attendancetimelinessand scheduling flexibility

• Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing them onto a conveyor

• Perform daily safety checks on the Machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Notify the Line Supervisor of any safetyqualityor maintenance problems

• Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defect before placing onto a pallet

• Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

KNOWLEDGESKILLSAND ABILITIES

• Basic mathematical skills (i.e.ability to add subtract multiply and divide)

• Effective communicationskills

• Team player reliable and strong work ethic

EDUCATIONAND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Able to readcomprehendand follow simple instructions.

• 1 Year general labor experience in similar setting (experience with roll formers punch presses brake presses preferred)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKENVIRONMENT

The employee shouldpossessthe ability to:

• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels thatmaybe uncomfortable

• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out

• Prolong standing or in stationary position

• Complete repetitive movements

• Bendand/or twist

• Lift/move/transport items up to50 pounds

• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

• Ability to work around dust chemicals and other substances and in various environmental conditions

• Wear all required personal protective equipment(hearingvisionand hardhat protection)
