Location: Altavista VA 24517
Shift: 3rd Shift 6 PM to 06:30 AM
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension
Position Summary:
Production Worker I supports manufacturing operations by inspecting labeling and packaging raw and finished products. Work is performed in a production environment under moderate supervision with adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all site safety standards.

Position Summary:
Production Worker I supports manufacturing operations by inspecting labeling and packaging raw and finished products. Work is performed in a production environment under moderate supervision with adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all site safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw and finished products for defects damage and conformance to specifications.
- Label and package raw and finished products according to established work instructions.
- Maintain production and quality records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
- Work in a clean-room environment as assigned following all gowning and contamination-control procedures.
- Follow standard operating procedures safety guidelines and OSHA requirements on the production floor.
- Escalate quality issues equipment concerns or material shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry materials as required.
- Attention to detail for inspection labeling and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision and follow written work instructions.
