Production Worker

Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Worker for our client in Cranbury NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 12:00AM Monday - Friday AND
• 3rd Shift: 10:30PM - 7AM Sunday-Thursday

Pay Rate:

• $16.13 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production Worker who will be responsible for operating production equipment assembling and packaging pet treats maintaining product quality and following all food safety and manufacturing procedures in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assemble inspect and package pet treats according to company specifications.
• Weigh and measure ingredients or finished products as required.
• Perform visual quality inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Label box and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Follow all food safety quality and workplace safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues or product defects to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory material handling and other production tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not always required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.
• Forklift experience is a plus for some departments.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial but not required.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing facility producing pet treats.
• Fast-paced environment with standing walking bending and lifting throughout the shift.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Exposure to food ingredients machinery and warehouse conditions.
