What You Will Do:

As a Production Test Engineer(PTE) II youre part of a manufacturing team that supportsthetest process through one or more phases of the product life cycle including product development transition to production sustained production and depot activities.

As a PTE II youll validateandensurecomplianceof the prime hardwareto technical data package requirementsand supporting test also troubleshoot and problem solve around test failures and youllidentifyopportunities to improve efficiency yields and capacity in test processes.

Additional responsibilities may include:(use

• Troubleshooting and providing accurate rework instructions for the product hardware.
• Assisting with creating and maintaining spares and the test equipment obsolescence plan.
• Working on projects to reduce test time and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends failure mode and test yields.
• Contributing to test capacity analyses and test flows.
• Maintaining changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings test instructions test position manuals and system software.
• Assisting in non-routine fault isolation diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
• Assisting with root cause and corrective action investigations and presenting findings utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans.
• Assisting with risk assessments and supporting the programs risk register reviews.

This job is posted as ONSITE and is located at Raytheons facility at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF).

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
