Production Team Leader B Shift

Starting Pay: $28.84/hr Shift Premium B Shift Benefits Available Day One

Location: Liberty MO

Magna is seeking a Production Team Leader to support daily manufacturing operations by directing workflow within a production area training operators supporting quality initiatives and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role that serves as a key resource for operators and production support teams.

• Train and support operators on machine operation quality inspections and standardized work procedures
• Assist with daily production activities to help maintain safety quality and productivity goals
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate support for machine or tooling concerns
• Monitor product quality and report non-conforming parts to leadership and quality teams
• Update communication boards and escalate operational issues as needed
• Complete maintenance work orders and support equipment uptime efforts
• Conduct daily 5S safety and workstation audits
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals concerns and production updates
• Respond to Andon calls and coordinate the appropriate support groups
• Fill in for operators when needed and support production flow throughout the shift
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve processes products and workplace efficiency

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing production team lead or leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to make decisions set direction and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to train coach and support team members
• High level of integrity accountability and attention to detail
• Ability to collect information identify issues and implement effective solutions
