Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 815 employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing high-quality consumables.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor working alongside their team solving problems and making sure production stays on track. As the direct link between management and the production team the Supervisor will set the tone for the department support employee development and ensure that safety quality and productivity remain top priorities.

• Lead motivate and support a team of 815 production employees creating a positive and productive work environment.
• Serve as a role model for safety quality attendance teamwork and work ethic.
• Assign daily responsibilities and ensure team members have the resources and direction needed to be successful.
• Oversee employee training and ensure team members understand and follow established processes and procedures.
• Maintain strong knowledge of department processes and conduct annual reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety cGMP and SOP requirements.
• Develop weekly production schedules and keep the team focused on meeting production goals and deadlines.
• Monitor production throughout the day identify potential issues early and take action to keep things moving.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes efficiency quality and productivity and communicate recommendations to management.
• Monitor material inventory and submit requests for materials as needed.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and feedback to employees and assist management with performance evaluations progress reports and disciplinary matters.
• Communicate effectively with both employees and management keeping everyone informed of important production staffing and operational issues.
• Step in and help solve problems when challenges arisebecause successful production takes a team effort.

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment food/beverage processing pharmaceutical nutraceutical or similar industry is highly desirable.
• Basic computer skills required.
