We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift - to join our Manitowoc WI team. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating second shift manufacturing operations to safely achieve production quality delivery cost and employee engagement objectives. This role provides direct leadership to production employees ensuring efficient execution of manufacturing schedules while maintaining high standards for safety quality operational performance and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor serves as the primary operational leader for the shift driving accountability workforce development problem solving and cross-functional collaboration to support Manitowoc Ices commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will:

  • Lead safe compliant manufacturing operations by enforcing safety quality and environmental standards.
  • Direct daily production activities to meet schedule efficiency and customer requirements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in productivity quality and cost.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing MDI and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise coach and develop manufacturing employees and team leaders.
  • Manage performance attendance onboarding training and employee engagement.
  • Lead root cause analysis incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
  • Support new product introductions process improvements and plant initiatives.
  • Communicate operational results priorities and expectations to employees and leadership.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Manufacturing Business Engineering Operations Management or related field; equivalent leadership experience considered. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience including 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations safety quality systems and workforce management.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ERP/MES and manufacturing reporting systems.
  • Strong problem-solving decision-making and employee development skills.
  • Experience in high-volume and union manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Ability to work a Monday through Friday 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM schedule.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications work location and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as annual incentive bonus.
