This role partners closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams to drive productivity employee engagement customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Supervisor helps maintain operational excellence by overseeing daily production activities ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and fostering a positive team-oriented work You Need To Be Successful:High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing automotive logistics or related industrial environment Strong leadership coaching and employee development skills Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume production environment Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build positive working relationships with employees union representatives and cross-functional teams Knowledge of safety quality and production management principles Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining positive employee relations Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to operational and customer needs Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Dependable attendance and flexibility to support overtime and vacation coverage Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems Ability to utilize OSR/HMI systems to support production and customer delivery Points If You Have:Previous supervisory leadership or Team Lead experienceExperience working in a unionized manufacturing environmentKnowledge of GM FTA Penske LLP and customer operational requirementsExperience with inventory control FIFO processes and Min/Max inventory managementContinuous improvement and cost-reduction experienceExperience with incident investigations and corrective action processesAdvanced proficiency with production management systems and reporting toolsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAdditional leadership manufacturing operations or supply chain training preferredTravel:Minimal travel We Offer:We believe ourteam membersare our greatest investment which is why we offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support you at every stage of your career and life.
