Dura-Line is hiring for a Production Shipping Attendant (Material Handler) in Elyria Ohio Garden Street.

Start at $19.36 per hour with a $2.00/hour shift differential for working nights.

SCHEDULE:

• Night Shift 6:45pm - 7:00am

• Work Mon/Tue Off Wed/Thur Work Fri/Sat/Sun

• Off Mon/Tue work Wed/Thur Off Fri/Sat/Sun Repeat

• Every other weekend is a 3-Day Weekend!!!

• Paid Bi-Weekly

• Total of 85.75 hours per pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime)

• Shift differential of $2.00 for night shift.

Sing on Bonus Offered: $500 after 90 days and $1000 after 180 days totaling $1500.

About The Role: Responsible for the proper preparation and loading all outgoing shipments offinished products unloading incoming shipments maintaining shipping yard/workspace andtransporting materials/finished products to appropriate department and/or storage location. May assist and perform internal plant material handing duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to transport materials from production areas to the yard in accordance with training and safety procedures.

• Transport materials throughout the plant as needed to support operations such as grinding and pelletizing.

• Transport raw materials as needed to support production.

• Inspect outgoing shipments for defects accurate labeling and complete and correct documentation.

• Assist the Shipping Technician with inventory control and cycle counts for steel reels and other inventory.

• Unload returns and incoming materials as needed count parts

• Assist with reel-building activities.

• Handle materials for production raw materials extrusion reel returns and reel-building operations.

Requirements:

• High School diploma required.

• At least 1 years of excellent forklift experience in a manufacturing warehouse shipping or distribution environment including experience with varied equipment and terrain.

• Basic reading writing and math skills required.

• Knowledge of warehouse systems including shipping receiving and FIFO practices.

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and MRP or ERP systems.

• Ability to work in plant warehouse forklift office computer and meeting environments.

• Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in variable weather and noise conditions while using required PPE.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Work is performed in plant warehouse forklift and office environments.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• May be exposed to weather and noise.

• Personal protective equipment is required.

The compensation for this position is typically start at $19.36/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills experience geographical location and internal equity.
