- Oversee production planning workflow and scheduling to ensure alignment between demand materials and manufacturing capacity
- Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on plant capacity project requirements and incoming demand
- Coordinate with supply chain project managers operations and manufacturing teams to ensure materials and components are available to meet production timelines
- Monitor production status and progress identifying delays shortages and bottlenecks and making adjustments as needed
- Ensure materials are flowing properly through the warehouse and into production including oversight of pick ticket requirements feeding the production floor
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks resolve production issues and adjust schedules when material availability or capacity constraints arise
- Maintain ERP/MRP system accuracy to support effective demand planning and material availability
- Align production schedules with manufacturing capabilities and capacity planning ensuring the organization can meet build requirements
- Communicate potential schedule changes or constraints to project management and leadership teams
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve production efficiency and reduce delays
- Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing planning production control or supply chain planning
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments; industrial equipment power generation or similar industry
- Proven ability to manage production planning processes and coordinate across cross-functional teams
- Strong experience working with ERP/MRP systems; Oracle ERP preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid drivers license
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes assembly operations and production workflows
- Ability to balance supply and demand planning ensuring materials meet production schedules
- Knowledge of capacity planning and production scheduling principles
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across supply chain operations and project management
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing timelines to support realistic planning assumptions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Adaptability and comfort working in a fastgrowing startup style environment where responsibilities evolve
- Ability to work onsite in a warehouse and shopfloor production environment
- Ability to stand walk bend and perform physical tasks for extended periods throughout the workday
