Job Summary

Do you get excited about taking ownership for the planning of a part of a factory in order to secure timely shipment of our most advanced lithography systems Do you have an education in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration and good organizational and analytical skills We are looking for a candidate who is good at solving complex planning problems to achieve ASMLs business target including the commercial product output and customer service requirement by the most efficient and economical way.
Production Planningis responsible forthe transformation oftheMasterplan (MPS) intoa feasibleproduction plan for all production equipmentmonitoringproduction progress working with manufacturing personnel ensuring that all logistical requirementsarefulfilledon time and in the most cost-efficient way.
In conjunction with the Shift Planning department workingwithinand understanding the production process plant procedures equipmentcapabilitiesand flow of goods within the facility by providing ready to execute detailed plans based on all constraints actual work in progress and buffer statusdaily.
The Manufacturing sector within the Wilton Factory (WF)is responsible forthe production of EXE NXE DUV and APPS systems. The Production Planner reports to the Manufacturing Planning Manager and works closely with Manufacturing (workstream ownersoperatorsand TLs/GLs) Sourcing & Supply Chain Management Material Handling Warehouse and Production Logistics teams.
- -Responsible forplanning production forthe13 weekhorizon validatingcapacity performance and drivinggapclosures on the start plan
- -Responsible for the planningmonitoringand adjustment of production activities so that the agreedmasterplan is realized with optimized work-in-progress and stock levels
- -Manage material availability for planned production activitiesfor the13 weekhorizonby mitigating and/or escalating shortages;define and execute structural improvements to prevent material issues in the future
- -Roll-up of production progress towards monthlyand quarterlymasterplan updatespro-activelyidentifyrisks and create scenarios for decision makingregardingplan optimization
- -Align facilities manufacturing equipmenttoolingand resource plan with capacity requirements and drivetimelydecision making for capacity extension
- -Identifyand plan bottlenecks/constraints correct plan levelling batchsizingand capacityutilizationeffectively and efficiently withoptimizeduse of critical resources
- -Utilize different planning parameters (e.g.safety time safety stock planning time fence) to adjust planningmethodologytomeet business requirements and optimize production plans
- -Initiate and provide input to improve cycle times and delivery processes within the factory
- -Participate in theengineering change process and execution to securean optimalimplementation in the factorybyreviewing cut over timelines and proposesolutions to product lifecycle managementand engineering
- -Communicate and collaborate with fellow colleagues to ensure feasibility and remove roadblocks
- -Navigate and input information in ERP
- -Responsible to trackkey performance indicatorscreateanalysis reports in MS Excelin the form of pivot tables and chartsto be presented out to stakeholdersdetermineroot causeanalysis and drive actions to improve performance
- -Activelyparticipateand present in meetings with stakeholders and fellow planners(utilizingExcel and PowerPoint)
- -Be asubject matter experton 1 or more production planning processes. Assubject matterexpertbe the go-to personfor the team in case of issues training anddrivestructuralimprovementsin the planning team.
- -Lead at least onecross-functional improvement projectwithin the fiscal year
MinimumRequiredEducationExperience and Skills
- -Minimum of twoyearsofexperienceinplanningand/orsupplychainina manufacturing environment
- -Minimum ofoneyearexperience withSAP orcomparableERP system
- -Minimum oftwoyears ofstakeholder management experience
- -Knowledge of Lean Methodology or other continuous improvement methods
- -Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsincludingcomplex functions andconditional formatting with formulas
- - Minimum ofoneiteration of planning for introductionof new products to production
- -Must be able todemonstrateexemplary critical thinking and time management skills
- - Must be agile andexemplify ownership and accountability
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills;demonstratedability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders; peers customers natural teams whilemaintaininga strong customer focus and professionalism

Responsibilities: -Must be willing to work in a clean room environment wearing coveralls hoods booties safetyglassesand gloves forentireduration of shift. -While performing the duties of this job the employeeisroutinely required tosit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard finger handle and feel; stoop kneel crouch twist reach and stretch. -The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. -Can work under deadlines. -The environmentisgenerally moderatein temperature with moderate to high noise level. -Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule- twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week. -This must include referencesto dayand night shifts for accommodation purposes.
