Job Summary:Production Maintenance Mechanic I is for a qualified individual with proven maintenance skills. Responsibilities include efficient maintenance and repair of all extraction mix-blend boilers HVAC cooling towers waste treatment water softeners RO units and production equipment. Conducts preventative maintenance troubleshooting and assisting with other projects as assigned reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs planned corrective and unplanned maintenance on specified equipment. Uses available documentation for equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Ensure safety in the workplace by eliminating unsafe a clean and organized work Quality Company assets by the direct intervention of any condition resulting in the abuse of equipment or the preventive maintenance program as directed by the Maintenance operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational communication (oral and written) within the maintenance team to ensure smooth shift transitions. Educational and/or Experience:High school diploma or GED; two or more years related experience in a food grade facility. Aseptic processing and high-speed form/fill/seal packaging license preferred MN 1st class B. Willing to obtain a 1st class B under Skills:Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Math Skills:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition subtraction multiplication and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages.
