Production Control Lead Nucor Towers & Structures

The responsibilities of the Production Control Lead include and are not limited to:

• Being a positive member of the NTS leadership team.
• Being an active participant in developing teammates according to The Nucor Way.
• Leading and managing the weekly and monthly production planning cycles to meet customer OTD.
• Collaborate effectively with operations maintenance commercial project management procurement and other teams at the headquarter office to establish and maintain backlog capacities.
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards always.

• Production scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control costs etc. for manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word Excel and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency with Microsoft D365.
• Previous Greenfield experience.
• Steel industry experience
• College education or certification(s).
