Reading Truck is now hiring a Production Control Coordinator in Claremore. Get paid to play with trucks!Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm; Overtime on Friday as neededHow You Will Make an ImpactThe Production Control Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily production schedules and supporting material availability to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This position works closely with Production Purchasing Inventory Control Shipping/Receiving and Materials leadership to coordinate production priorities maintain accurate production and inventory information and support on-time delivery. They serve as a key liaison between departments to identify and resolve scheduling inventory and material flow issues that may impact are a leading manufacturer distributor and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide. The Nuts and BoltsCoordinate daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand production priorities labor availability material availability and equipment material availability movement staging kitting and replenishment to support uninterrupted inventory levels and investigate material shortages discrepancies transaction errors and other inventory with Purchasing Planning Production Shipping Receiving Warehouse and Inventory teams to resolve material issues prioritize work and support production material shortages schedule changes production delays and inventory concerns to appropriate accurate inventory transactions cycle counts inventory control processes and ERP data accurate production schedules inventory records and material information within ERP and inventory management the replenishment and inventory of indirect materials supplies and consumables to support manufacturing maintenance and facility and maintain reports related to production schedules inventory status material shortages and operational continuous improvement initiatives focused on scheduling inventory accuracy material flow and operational Materials leadership with reporting planning scheduling inventory management and other departmental other duties as assignedRequired CredentialsHigh School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in supply chain Business Manufacturing or a related field preferredMinimum of two (2) years of experience in production scheduling production control and/or inventory control within a manufacturing environment preferredExperience supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment preferredProficiency with ERP/MRP systems (JD Edwards SAP or similar manufacturing systems) preferredAble to achieve goals in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft office applications with advances Excel skills preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively across Production Purchasing Inventory Warehouse and Shipping and ReceivingWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes inventory control and production schedulingHow We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture distribution and enhancement of work truck bodies.
