Skills Required:
Electrical Wiring - Candidate should be familiar with developing and releasing wiring harness designs for a vehicle electrical distribution system (EDS). Resolving DFMEA/design-for-manufacturing issues with harness suppliers having hands-on experience with OEM wiring design tools (e.g. CATIA/Capital or equivalent schematic-capture and harness-design software) knowledge of SAE/USCAR wiring standards and ability to read and mark up 2D/3D wiring diagrams and geometry
Experience Required:
System engineering root cause analysis quality improvement low voltage wiring
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree

***FULLY ONSITE***As this is a fully onsit position the customer may request in-person interviews.*** ***Agency employees are required to be onsite from day one as specified. Please do not submit remote-only candidates. If a candidate plans to relocate note in the submittal that the relocation will be at the candidates own expense.*** -Support daily warranty claim binning triaging incoming claims and prioritizing containment actions based on claim count & priority ranking -Support manage the change process for Engineering Issues: Coordinating plant trials leading manage the change sign off process ensuring the manufacturing plant is ready to incorporate design changes -Support error proofing systems identifying resolution for both internal & external issues -Attend VRT sub-system meetings working with supporting skill teams to resolve quality & design issues -Review internal end of line electrical issues triaging DTCs developing workplans to resolve -Leverage quality systems to identify customer issues based on DTC information - Lead design resolution of low voltage EDS issues -Review pre-production vehicles for potential campaign items and assess warranty impact -Participate in vehicle builds and led resolution of issues (AIMS/JIRA) -Develop roadmap to eliminate high hurt internal/external issues. -Develop business cases for engineering changes using facts and applicable data -Lead engineering changes from initial concept through production launch
