Job Summary

Position Summary:

Central Research Inc. (CRI) is looking for a Procurement Systems & Reporting Analyst to support our federal government contract. The Procurement Systems & Reporting Analyst provides database systems reporting troubleshooting and process-support services to a federal procurement organization. The position assists users with procurement-system issues maintains data accuracy coordinates with information-technology subject-matter experts supports reporting requirements and evaluates the operational impact of system changes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ongoing procurement database maintenance data entry validation and correction.
  • Process or coordinate requests for access to approved procurement systems in accordance with Government procedures.
  • Research identify document and correct data errors in the contract-writing system or other assigned systems.
  • Respond to procurement-system questions from authorized customers and vendors through appropriate channels.
  • Diagnose isolate document and follow up on system issues through resolution.
  • Coordinate with team members and IT subject-matter experts on compatibility integration and system issues.
  • Maintain issue logs resolution documentation user guidance and system-support records.
  • Assist with procurement requests equipment shipments testing activities and planning for system changes.
  • Support monthly procurement-system reporting and other data-reporting requirements.
  • Analyze the operational impact of process changes resulting from current or new system capabilities.
  • Support system upgrades testing implementation and user communications as assigned.
  • Develop or update system-related procedures job aids and standard operating procedures.
  • Support approved surge activities related to outages upgrades testing fiscal-year-end workload or significant process changes.
  • Safeguard Government information and comply with applicable security confidentiality records-management and accessibility requirements.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the positions scope and the needs of the program.

Employment Eligibility:

U.S. citizenship is not required for this position. However Central Research Inc. (CRI) is unable to provide visa sponsorship or other immigration sponsorship for employment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship from the Company. This position requires a Federal Public Trust determination. Under the Governments investigation requirements candidates who are not U.S. citizens must have resided in the United States for at least three of the past five years to be eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in information systems business analytics computer science management or a related field.
  • 4 years of relevant professional experience in systems support data analysis business analysis procurement support or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot business-system issues and communicate technical information to nontechnical users.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with structured data.
  • Strong analytical documentation organizational and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and priorities while maintaining accurate records.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust Determination (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed):
    • Not in default on federal student loans.
    • Demonstrated financial responsibility.
    • No felony convictions within the past 7 years.
    • Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility.
    • No non-medical collections totaling $7500 or more.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal Government systems.
  • Experience with PRISM or another federal contract-writing system.
  • Experience with SharePoint FPDS SAM Power BI Tableau or comparable systems.
  • Experience coordinating with IT teams on business-system changes.

  • Ability to apply sound judgment maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive Government and contractor information.
  • Ability to organize work prioritize competing assignments meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members Government personnel customers and other authorized stakeholders.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other systems necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • Ability to comply with applicable security privacy records-management accessibility and information-protection requirements.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Work is generally performed in a professional office customer-site or approved telework environment depending on contract and business requirements.
  • Regular use of computers telephones electronic systems and standard office equipment is required.
  • The employee may be required to communicate by telephone video conference email and in-person meetings.
  • Occasional additional hours including evenings or weekends may be required for approved surge activities system outages upgrades testing fiscal-year-end support or other business needs associated with the assignment.
