Processing Specialist Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Processing Specialist for an Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn OH. This is a seasonal contract opportunity. This position is fully onsite.

Compensation:$20.00 per hour W2

Position Overview:
Under direct supervision this role focuses on the execution of basic processing work following defined procedures. The Specialist will be responsible for routine operational and administrative tasks including handling paper invoices and checks and will require exceptional attention to detail to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open mail and extract paper invoices/checks
• Properly sort non-payment documents for processing
• Accurately batch work and communicate issues to the Workflow Coordinator or Supervisor
• Administer defined procedures for filing recording and processing documentation
• Perform basic routine tasks as assigned by the manager
• Cross-train in other functional areas such as mail sort keying reassociation and data entry

Primary Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• 0-1 years of experience with general office skills
• Proficient in 10-Key able to perform with a high degree of speed and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications
• Effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of banking policies procedures and government regulations
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Must be able to complete onsite interviews including sorting and data entry testing

Desired Skills:

• College degree
