Process Technologist

Youll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means youll be responsible for crafting and building the process technology that fuels Apples devices. Together you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their this highly visible role you will be at the center of process technology problem solving with a focus on interface with silicon vendors and foundries. This is a hands-on dynamic role requiring travel to suppliers and foundries worldwide.

-tManage technical interface with silicon vendors on process technology. n-tWork closely with foundries on supplier silicon process issues. n-tCoordinate process transfers with IDMs and external foundries. n-tLead the technical risk assessment and mitigation plans on product - process interactions and its impact on high volume manufacturing n-tDrive technology suitability and impact assessment on products/use cases from concept through design phases tape out and ramp to volume n-tParticipate in defining technology roadmap technology development device engineering and ongoing sustaining engineering activities within the Technology group working closely with Silicon vendors. n-tDrive thorough investigation of root cause and solutions to process/yield issues and its impact on product production performance and reliability. n-tManage and mitigate process technology risks for multiple projects in parallel. n-tEngage parties in technology decision making and drive to timely closure and thorough follow-through. n-tBuild essential internal and external relationships across all levels (Engineering to senior management) at suppliers and within Apple n-tInterpersonal and communication skills to engage at all levels of the supply chain from engineers to CEOs

BS and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Candidate should have 10 years of experience in semiconductor process Ru0026D and manufacturing. Experience with process development qualification and yield enhancement is knowledge of CMOS HVMOS BCDMOS MEMs technologies device physics and industry competitive technology landscape is in interfacing with design teams (analog u0026 digital) in these technologies Experience in Analog/ mixed signal/power/display/Sensing/MEMs related process technologies and manufacturing is highly desirednDemonstrated prior experience and success in solving highly complex technical problems under a very aggressive schedule is essential. nPeople management skills and managerial experience is highly desired. nGood data analysis problem solving and very strong communication skills required. nSelf-motivated independent decision maker and schedule oriented is expected.
