The Role
This role is part of the Engineering Maintenance team supporting a GMP manufacturing facility currently in an active expansion phase. Initially the position will support equipment installation commissioning and qualification activities. As the site transitions into commercial production the role will evolve into ongoing manufacturing support.
You will maintain and troubleshoot process equipment used in the manufacture of oligonucleotides working closely with engineers operators and other maintenance technicians in a fast-paced highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on GMP manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical fluid handling pneumatic and thermal control systems (e.g. pumps valves regulators agitators piping systems)
Support lowvoltage electrical and control troubleshooting (no highvoltage work)
Execute preventive maintenance activities and respond to equipment issues to support production
Document maintenance activities accurately in a computerized maintenance management system
Support GMP requirements through proper documentation and adherence to SOPs
Communicate repair status and equipment conditions clearly with crossfunctional teams
Qualifications
Associate degree trade school certification or equivalent handson experience
3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills in process or industrial systems
Experience working in regulated environments (GMP FDAregulated or similar)
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs equipment manuals and maintenance documentation
Working knowledge of GMP and good documentation practices
Familiarity with safety practices such as lockout/tagout and controlled work permits
Preferred
Experience in pharmaceutical life sciences or other highly regulated industries
Exposure to automated process equipment and industrial control systems
Experience with CMMS tools (e.g. Blue Mountain RAM Maximo SAP)
Fabrication welding or basic machining experience (helpful but not required)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work in manufacturing and utility areas with exposure to chemicals moving equipment and industrial systems
Ability to stand climb reach bend and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
May require occasional offhours weekend or oncall support as operations expand
Shift note: The role will begin on a standard weekday schedule. As production scales over time this position may transition to a fixed off-shift or include on-call support. Advance notice and compensation apply.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
