Process Engineer

How You Will Create Value:
You will play an instrumental role in the organization helping to drive continuous and operational excellence from brine extraction to finished product. You will work side-by-side with all operational groups to solve problems and make a real impact every single day.
More specifically you will:
- Troubleshoot process and quality issues in a hands-on field-based environment.
- Partner with operations and pond teams to stabilize plant performance and manage brine systems.
- Align cavern pond and plant operations to meet production and quality targets.
- Optimize key processes (flotation dewatering material handling) to improve recovery and throughput.
- Lead improvement initiatives and capital projects ensuring results stick in the field.
- Support forecasting data analysis and continuous improvement while maintaining clear operating standards.
What Youll Need to Be Successful:
- Demonstrated experience in a mining or chemical processing operation coupled with a bachelors degree in engineering (chemical mechanical mining industrial etc.).
- You must be a self-starter who can work independently while remaining humble and coachable.
- Ability to balanceintellectual design with hands on field execution.
- You must be comfortable shifting between a climate-controlled office and rugged industrial field locations.
- Analytical thinking attention to detail and the ability to generate solutions using sound judgement. Must be able to effectively gather synthesize analyze and package/present environmental information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence and trust as a competent team player.
