Are you passionate about improving how things work solving complex manufacturing challenges and using data to drive real results As a Process Engineer youll play a key role in optimizing production processes enhancing product quality and partnering with crossfunctional teams to deliver worldclass manufacturing performance.
Position Summary
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing optimizing and controlling manufacturing processes to consistently meet customer and business requirements. Using statistical methods advanced process control tools and proven continuous improvement methodologies this role ensures processes are stable capable and efficient.
This is a firstshift position; however flexibility is required to support production needs and improvement initiatives.
What Youll Do
- Optimize and control process parameters to minimize variation and improve capability
- Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify issues root causes and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement corrective actions that improve safety quality cost and delivery
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Quality Product Engineering and Operations teams to improve performance
- Drive equipment and system performance improvements from baseline to bestinclass
- Support new product introductions by ensuring robust and capable processes
- Coach and train operators and technical teams on process understanding and best practices
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
- Support Manufacturing Business Plan objectives and strategic initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or a related Engineering discipline
- 35 years of handson experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of process engineering and project management fundamentals
- Experience using statistical tools to analyze data and reduce process variation
- Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis FMEA Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (preferred)
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across teams and influence without authority
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Demonstrated ability to drive results manage priorities and solve problems
