Our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support manufacturing excellence initiatives and drive continuous improvement throughout production operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with hands-on problem-solving skills and a passion for Lean Manufacturing principles. Job Duties:
- Develop document and maintain standard work practices and operating procedures
- Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Implement error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) and visual management systems throughout manufacturing operations
- Design and optimize production lines workstation layouts and material flow processes
- Support tooling fixture development and process equipment improvements
- Monitor and analyze production metrics including OEE downtime scrap and productivity performance
- Conduct line balancing studies and cycle time analysis to improve workflow efficiency
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues
- Support new product launches trial builds and production ramp-up activities
- Maintain process documentation control plans and training materials
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and customer requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
- Previous manufacturing process engineering industrial engineering or continuous improvement experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with process analysis line balancing and workflow optimization
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions
