Our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support manufacturing excellence initiatives and drive continuous improvement throughout production operations. Job Duties:

• Develop document and maintain standard work practices and operating procedures
• Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Implement error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) and visual management systems throughout manufacturing operations
• Design and optimize production lines workstation layouts and material flow processes
• Support tooling fixture development and process equipment improvements
• Monitor and analyze production metrics including OEE downtime scrap and productivity performance
• Conduct line balancing studies and cycle time analysis to improve workflow efficiency
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues
• Support new product launches trial builds and production ramp-up activities
• Maintain process documentation control plans and training materials
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and customer requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
• Previous manufacturing process engineering industrial engineering or continuous improvement experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with process analysis line balancing and workflow optimization
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements
• Experience creating and maintaining process documentation work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
• Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions
