Description:
Applies process improvement (PI) engineering methodologies and principles to effectively improve and align Enterprise-level processes. Facilitates project teams in accomplishing project activities and objectives. Coordinates the transfer of new processes and practices to project teams by providing group facilitation interviewing training and additional forms of knowledge transfer. Acts as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure Enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts.

Due to federal contract requirements United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities:

• Coordinate and schedule process assessments
• Analyze assessment results and make improvement recommendations
• Assess Process Improvement progress and report findings
• Assist in defining Process Improvement strategy and lesson learns
• Develop the plans for process assessments both informal and formal
• Work closely with the systems and software engineering process development team members to determine organizational readiness for assessment as well as in conducting assessments
• Lead assessment teams in conducting both formal and informal assessments
• Ensure assessment results and recommendations are used as the basis for improvement plans
• Evaluate Systems Engineering and Software Engineering processes to address problems with process work flows organizational structure and alignment and planning.
• Conducts training sessions and workshops for Process Improvement activities
• Interpret and promote the use of Process Improvement best practices
• Assist in Enterprise level Systems and Software Engineering Process Improvement initiatives
• Lead Process Improvement effort utilizing CMM/CMMI or other similar process models
• Ensure processes are established and documented to support the application and institutionalization of sound systems and software engineering discipline and continuous process improvement
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software troubleshoot maintain integrity of and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

Required Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• Ten (10) years experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
• Experience is to include within the past ten (10) years five (5) years experience in facilitation training methodology development and evaluation process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices change management business management techniques organizational development activity and data modeling or information system development methods and practices.
• A Bachelors Degree in computer science information systems engineering business or education from an accredited college or university is required.

Required Technical Skills:

• Process evaluations document existing/proposed processes experience using Confluence Jira and Git onboarding standardization documentation and process requirements process-front door tracking documentation etc.

Salary Range: $180000.00 - $190000.00(Annually)
Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; annual hours worked; education; relevant prior work experience knowledge skills and competencies; certifications and geographic location.
