Process Automation Specialist

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

• BS in Engineering Electronics or Computer Science and3 years of combined industrial experience co-op and internship time counts.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP FDA/EMA regulations and 21 CFR Part 1
• Bilingual: Spanish and English (verbal/ written)
• Shift: 12-hour and according to business needs.
  • 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Experience in:
  • Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms
  • Familiarity with DeltaV FactoryTalk SCADA/DCS/BAS systems
  • Basic networking or database exposure
  • CMMS experience (e.g. Maximo)

AS A PIECE OF FITS YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Provide technical support to Manufacturing Packaging Facilities and Utilities teams troubleshooting automated electronic and computerized systems and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems: PLCs ladder logic drives motion systems and smart electronic devices.
• Support installation configuration troubleshooting and upgrades of computerized systems (PLCs HMI SCADA DCS/BAS communication interfaces and related platforms training provided on systems you havent used before).
• Help maintain automated systems software and documentation and contribute to the CMMS spare parts/maintenance planning process.
• Write and review SOPs and work instructions for automated equipment.
• Participate as a team member on automation and process improvement projects.
• Work directly with hardware/software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Comply with all cGMP EHS and site security requirements.
