Job Description

• Handle probate and trust litigation matters from case assessment through resolution.
• Represent clients in hearings depositions mediations and other litigation proceedings.
• Prepare pleadings motions discovery briefs correspondence and other legal documents.
• Conduct detailed legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear practical legal guidance.
• Independently manage assigned matters while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings when appropriate.
• Analyze complex probate trust fiduciary and estate-related disputes and identify effective solutions.
• Contribute to a high-quality practice where strong judgment writing advocacy and client service are valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years of direct probate and trust litigation experience.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Substantive courtroom and deposition experience.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and advocacy skills.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Probate administration estate planning commercial litigation or corporate law experience is a plus.
