Location: Dallas TX. This is a full-time in-office opportunity Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative client-focused team.

Note: Candidates must have 1 year of probate law experience. Strong communication organization attention to detail professionalism and the ability to work effectively in a client-facing office environment are also essential.

Job Description

  • Support attorneys throughout probate estate administration and trust administration matters.
  • Participate in client meetings and help gather important financial and estate information.
  • Draft petitions hearing documents correspondence and other legal documents for attorney review.
  • Assist with identifying valuing and managing estate and trust assets.
  • Communicate professionally with clients court personnel financial advisors and other parties.
  • Manage court filings deadlines procedures and case calendars with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Conduct legal research and help keep matters organized and moving forward efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of probate law experience required.
  • Experience with estate administration trust administration or estate planning is a strong plus.
  • Bachelors degree paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization accuracy confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable maintaining professional business attire for client-facing meetings.
