Job Summary
This is a remote position.
- Research on technology software and health/wellness/healthcare businesses
- Financial modeling for both deals and portfolio company monitoring
- Writing to support investment sourcing due diligence and underwriting decisions
- Preparing investor materials including decks memos financial models and more
- Monitoring portfolio companies and related news/events
- Developing corporate strategy
- Other responsibilities to support the Founding Partner and CEO as mutually agreed
- Work directly with the Founding Partner and CEO who has raised and deployed over $100 million in capital over the last 5 years and achieved top-decile performance
- Contribute to the operational strategic and cultural development of the emerging investment company
- Participate in all areas of a private equity fund including sourcing due diligence preparing investor materials investor relations corporate strategy and more
- Experience in investment banking management consulting and/or private equity/venture capital
- Finance/Accounting experience and financial modeling skills (not required)
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills; Canva skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently be a self-starter and operate as a team player
- Resourcefulness and thoroughness in conducting research and financial analysis
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
