Private Companies 3rd-6th Life Sciences Focus

Cooley is seeking 3rd6th year associates to join its elite private companies team advising disruptive companies and the investors who fund them. Associates with at least three years of substantial experience working with early-stage and growth-stage companies particularly in the life sciences sector are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will have deep experience counseling venture-backed companies on general corporate matters throughout their growth cycle including venture capital financings and liquidity events. Life sciences companies of all sizes turn to Cooley for strategic legal counsel. This is an opportunity to join a growing national team working with clients that are shaping the life sciences industry.

In parallel with client work associates will have the opportunity to build and run a practice participate in speaking engagements and contribute to the development of Cooleys national private companies platform. Candidates should have experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm specifically working with life sciences companies. They should also demonstrate a strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school. EOE.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $260000 - $390000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
