Private Cloud Service Delivery Manager (TX DIR)

Peraton is hiring for a Private Cloud Service Delivery Managerto support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) with overall accountability forPrivate Cloud network and AI Platform service delivery.

The Service Delivery Manager will provide operational leadership across the Private Cloud network and AI Platform environments ensuring service-level attainment infrastructure lifecycle management incident and problem management ServiceNow service fulfillment and CMDB accuracy.

This position supports operations across both theAustin Data Center (ADC)andSan Angelo Data Center (SDC). This position supports both Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall operational accountability forPrivate Cloud network and AI Platform service delivery.
• Ensure SLA attainment across all applicable service tiers
• Manage compute and VM lifecycle management across theAustin Data Center (ADC)andSan Angelo Data Center (SDC).
• Provide AI Platform service delivery when the optionalsovereign AI Platformis implemented.
• Lead day-to-day incident and problem management includingTier 2 and Tier 3 support.
• ManageServiceNow service catalog fulfillment.
• MaintainCMDB accuracyand configuration management.
• Coordinate service delivery across Private Cloud network compute storage cloud and AI/GPU environments as applicable.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure achievement of contractual service levels.
• Coordinate with other service delivery teams and vendors within theMSI/multi-vendor operating model.
• Support continuous improvement of service management and operational processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience may have supervisory or management experience.
• 7 years of private cloud or enterprise data center managed services operations experience.
• Hands-on experience withVMware vCenter/vSphere or an equivalent hypervisor platform required.
• Experience managingtiered storage environments includingSAN/NAS in conjunction with compute environments.
• Experience withITIL-based service management operations.
• Experience managing infrastructure in agovernment or regulated environment.
• Familiarity with theServiceNow ITSM platform.
• Experience working withinMSI/multi-vendor government IT delivery models.
• Demonstrated experience with incident management problem management SLA management and enterprise service delivery.
• Strong operational leadership and communication skills.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

• Experience withAI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience withGPU compute environments.
• Experience supportingcloud AI platforms.
• Experience withsovereign AI platforms.
• ITIL v4 Foundationcertification.
• Cloud architecture certification such as AWS Azure or equivalent.
• Experience operating large-scale private cloud or data center environments across multiple physical locations.
• Experience supporting state government federal government or other highly regulated IT environments.
• Experience managing high-availability infrastructure with stringent SLA requirements.
