Were seeking a visionary Principal Engineer to lead our cutting-edge reporting product a cornerstone initiative thats shaping the future of Rad AI. This highly visible role offers a unique opportunity to revolutionize how radiologists work by creating technology that meaningfully saves time and reduces burnout.

Youll partner closely with our executive team to shape the products technical direction raise the bar for engineering excellence and turn an ambitious vision into scalable high-impact systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the CTO and CPO to architect and drive the technical vision for our reporting product

  • Elevate engineering excellence by serving as a technical mentor and role model across the organization

  • Design forward-thinking solutions that deliver measurable business value while anticipating emerging technological trends

  • Collaborate strategically with adjacent teams to accelerate innovation and achieve breakthrough results

  • Establish robust engineering standards and guide the team in building scalable systems to support our rapid growth

  • Foster an inclusive culture that encourages diverse perspectives and open communication

Requirements
  • Demonstrated success as a principal engineer or equivalent technical leadership role

  • Exceptional technical expertise with a proven ability to drive innovation and establish best practices

  • Advanced knowledge of modern software architecture and engineering principles

  • AI experience is highly valuable for this transformative role

  • Proven track record of implementing architecture standards that enable engineering excellence

  • History of successfully designing and delivering complex technical systems with substantial business impact.

Location Details:

For roles listed as San Francisco - Onsite:

  • This role will be based in our San Francisco office and we expect employees to work onsite four days per week. The remaining time may be worked remotely or onsite depending on team and business needs.

For roles listed as United States - Remote:

  • This role is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

For roles listed as San Francisco - Onsite United States - Remote:

  • We will prioritize candidates who can work onsite four days per week in San Francisco while also considering remote candidates located anywhere in the United States.
