Principal Sales Compensation

Overall Purpose: Design implement and manage sales compensation plans through focused project management aligning with business objectives to motivate sales teams and drive revenue growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

• Designing and Administering Compensation Plans: Develop design and administer comprehensive sales compensation incentive and recognition programs that align with strategic goals.
• Implementation and Communication: Manage the implementation of compensation plans communicate changes and ensure all stakeholders understand the policies and procedures.
• Performance Analysis and Benchmarking: Analyze compensation plans and competitive data to ensure effectiveness generate insights and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with HR finance and sales leadership leading cooperative efforts on project teams and ensuring alignment with business strategies.
• Stakeholder Support and Policy Interpretation: Provide support and consultation to stakeholders explaining and interpreting sales compensation policies and procedures.

Job Contribution: An expert in their field applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired. 7 years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
