Principal Linux & Windows System Administrators based in El Segundo CA infrastructureWorkplaceServicescollaboratewith manyteams tosupportexciting critical programs with classified information system this role means you candevelop implement and maintain secure cost-efficientenvironmentsacross various classified programs. Program teams rely on yourcollaborationand guidance to define computing requirements andcreateend-to-endsolutionstosolvecomplexIT infrastructure problems.

What You Will Do:

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedhatEnterpriseLinux environment.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment using troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues including hardware and OS integration while adapting to evolving challenges as part of a team.
• Working with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Developsolutionsand documentation about a variety of technical problems.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security or equivalent certification)
• Participate in team collaboration Manage virtualized environments
• Full-time 100% Onsite position

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a bachelors degree and minimum of 5yearsof prior relevant experience or amasters degree and minimum of 3yearsof prior relevant experience
• Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship isrequired as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment.
• Experience with RHEL Server setup RHEL system security management perform data backup and restore.
• Experience Windows Desktop Operating System (OS) and Windows Server OS
• Experience with Net App

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with data storage NAS and SAN technologies and solutions.
• Familiarity with Ansible and system automation
• Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with VMware administration including ESXi hypervisors and VSphere management interface.
• Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration Group Policy).
• Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.
• Experience with backup technologies such as tape libraries and backup software (NetBackup or the like).
• Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

The salary range for this role is 95500 USD - 181700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
