What you will bring:

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

• 5 years significant financial experience majority of this in role as Financial Analyst; minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.

• Expert technical and analytical accounting skills specifically in the areas of financial modelling and reporting.

• Experience with Oracle EPM Hyperion Planning SmartView FCC Power BI or equivalent reporting systems.

• Expert technical understanding of IFRS or general accounting principles and maintain the highest professional ethics and standards.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently prioritize tasks.

• Ability to work with concentration accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to visualize articulate and solve complex problems and concepts make decisions based on available information and use judgment and discretion.

Education Qualifications Accreditation Training:

Required

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or a related field required.

Job Title:

As a Principal Financial Analyst you will drive effective financial planning and performance management by providing accurate analysis reporting budgeting and forecasting while partnering with Department and Business Unit Managers to enable informed decision-making and improve business results. This position will be reporting to the Finance Director.

Principal Responsibilities:

Management Reporting

• Lead and support the budget/quarterly forecast processes including data collection upload data integrity and validation.

• Analysis and interpretation of results including Actuals Forecasts and Budgets along with comparing budget/forecast to actual KPIs key business drivers and trends overheads business development activities and market conditions.

• Forensically review financials as needed to identify and correct accounting errors and reduce future financial impacts.

• Participate in Month end close activities including financial analysis Journal entries and any necessary month end adjustments

• Preparing Monthly & Quarterly Business Review Report Packs

• Monitoring of overhead budget for functional areas including detailed variance analysis and a view on possible risks and opportunities.

• Compliance with high quality of presentation clarification and accuracy with all information disseminated

• Drive an effective internal control framework to highlight and manage risk by providing an independent assessment of the health of the business

• Ad-hoc business analysis as required

• Assist in developing and implementing effective reporting and analysis to improve understanding of actual and forecast performance to drive future financial performance.

Business Partnership

• Work Closely with Finance Business Partner to support Operations and finance function.

• Identify effective overhead and working capital reporting/analysis to drive productivity.

• Able to utilize leading indicators across the region to identify opportunities and/or risks.

• Ensure appropriate accountability and performance standards are met and maintain high levels of confidentiality working with sensitive data.

Continuous Improvement

• Leverage AI to identify business risks opportunities and efficiency improvements.

• Leverage common system platforms e.g. Hyperion Oracle (GBS EPM).

• Be a custodian of finance systems and data.

• Be a Finance super user and be a first point of contact on system related issues.
