We are searching for a self-motivated ElectroMechanical engineer with a proven record of excellent project delivery and experience to lead several company projects.
- Network and collaborate with other engineers technicians & professionals that are involved in the project
- Possess knowledge & understanding of industrial standards and norms
- Work within both hours & costing budgets to deliver safe and efficient products according to the project schedule
- Developing project solution designs utilizing company technologies in partnership with the Account Management team and other parts of the business
- Lead departmental & company strategic initiatives and provide guidance to those developing & carrying out the strategies & processes involved
- Participate in site auditssubcontractor audits & inventory inspections before installation occurs
- Creating Bill of Materials &support the purchasing process throughout the project
- Provide company representation at both internal and external meetings
- Support the Global Help Desk & Spare Parts department in responding to customer inquiries
- Create and maintain good relations with customers and suppliers
- Capable of developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Provide technical support to sales department and assist in the preparation and presentation of sales tenders and proposals including but not limited to hours estimation and estimation
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
- 15 years industrial experience and experience working with the design and implementation of warehousing automation
- Proficiency in E-Plan and AutoCad is essential
- Knowledge and proficiency in other CAD systems are a plus including AutoCAD Revit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Visio
- Ability to travel both nationally & internationally 30-40% to support project work and installations
- Able to understand wholistically the co-relation between the electrical mechanical controls and software system
- Capable of understanding customers operational processes and integrate it within the design effort
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Significant experience in providing mentorship and peer-to-peer training in both formal and informal settings
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma is preferred
