Summary

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for quoting DSV US Air and Sea shipments in accordance with the established DSV pricing framework. The role will work closely with regions/sub-regions/branches including sales and operations to support business growth and retention.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system to support Operations or Sales Customer requests.
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs.
• Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where pricing strategies need attention and optimization.
• Monitor individual pricing performance and identify areas where improvements are needed to win business.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Support the maintenance of the pricing databases.

Educational background / Work experience

• 4 years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry.
• 6 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business economics mathematics or a related field.
• Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry.
• Experience in transportation and logistics operations.

Language skills

• Fluent in English (oral and written)

Computer Literacy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred.

DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as at will employees. For this position the expected base pay is: $31.00 - $38.00 / hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge skills experience geographic location and other objective business considerations.
