Prep Cook

Position Summary

The Prep Cook TEAM Member supports the delivery of the Olgas Fresh experience by preparing quality food withcare and attention to role helps maintain a clean organized and food-safe kitchen environment whilesupporting the TEAM in creating a welcoming and efficient guest experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Complete prep tasks accurately and efficiently following recipes and par levels
• Prepare menu items to Olgas Fresh standards and guest specifications
• Maintain food safety sanitation and overall back-of-the-house cleanliness
• Wash dishes clean equipment remove trash and complete cleaning tasks
• Stock and rotate product in coolers freezers and dry storage areas
• Put away deliveries and maintain organized storage areas
• Use proper portioning tools and follow quality standards
• Support TEAM Members and maintain a positive professional attitude
• Deliver a clean safe and guest focused experience throughout the shift

Education/ Experience

• No Previous experience required. Any Service-related industry experience is a plus

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to understand oral and/or written instruction

• Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with Olgas Fresh TEAMMembers

Physical and Mental Requirements

Finger Dexterity: Using primarily the fingers to make small movements such as typing picking up small objects orpinching fingers together.

Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately loudlyor quickly.

Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motions: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists hands and/or fingers.

Visual: Average ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operatemachinery.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructionsand to deal with problems involving a few variables.

Mathematics Ability: Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying and dividingtwo digit numbers to perform the four basic arithmetic operations with money; to perform operations with unitssuch as inch foot and yard ounce and pound.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts operating and maintenanceinstructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speakeffectively before groups of guests or employees of the organization.

Must be physically able to work at any duty station in the kitchen or service area when needed on a temporarybasis and operate cash register as the ability to stand and walk for approximately 95-100% ofshift including the ability to bend reach and lift. May be required to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
