Premium Club Server | Part-Time | Mullett Arena

A Premium Club Server plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during events. The Premium Club Servers primary function is to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and attended to following event specifications and service standards. From the setup of banquet spaces to the seamless execution of meal service they maintain an acute focus on detail and hospitality. Premium Club Servers work collaboratively with the kitchen to ensure the timely delivery of food adapt to guest needs in real time and uphold the ambiance and quality of the event. Beyond serving Premium Club Servers contribute to the overall success of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the service. They reset spaces for subsequent events and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately. Whether its a formal dinner a corporate event or a wedding reception this applies. Premium Club Servers are integral in creating a positive impression of the venue and event host embodying professionalism efficiency and a guest-focused attitude.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.15 and is tip eligible.

Mullett Arena is a 5000-seat multi-purpose arena located at 411 S. Packard Dr. Tempe Arizona. The arena opened on October 14th 2022 and is managed by Oak View Group. The arena houses 22 suites 600 club seats and 15 loge boxes. The arena is home to ASU Sun Devils Hockey and the NBA G League Valley Suns and it hosts a variety of events year-round.

• Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
• Provides quick attentive friendly and professional service to banquet guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers.
• Ensures that food items are served at the proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen as ordered by the customer.
• Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items with no spill-over.
• Pre-bus tables and fully bus tables when necessary during peak periods.
• Maintains availability to work during many peak periods.
• Stock beverage station(s) when necessary (ice juices glassware sugar packets etc.).
• Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests.
• Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
• Communicates with wait staff bus persons bartenders supervisors and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
• Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered.

• 12 years of experience in hospitality or high-volume environments preferred.Experience in premium service clubs or events is a plus.
• Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card Alcohol Awareness Certification and other required compliance trainings.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly professionally and respectfully with employees co-workers management staff and guests fostering a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food beverage and alcohol service standards.
• Must be able to work nights weekends and holidays.
• Able to carry heavy trays continuously throughout the day.
