Pre-K Part-Time Aftercare Support

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support teachers in managing aftercare program for pre-K 4-year old program
• Support students with the following: 
  • Engaging in enriching activities in 1:1 small group and whole group settings
  • Supporting in managing outdoor play
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of classrooms ensuring the rooms are ready for the start of school the following day 
  • Support lead teacher with end of day closeout activities
  • Support students with activities including bathroom support snack and rest 
  • Ensuring students are safe at all time during their time in school 
• Time:  Monday Thursday 3:30-5:30; Friday: 12:30-5:30

Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS

• Evidence of self-motivation willingness to be a team player and has a strong sense of personal responsibility;
• Ideal candidates are hard-working urgent energetic and are willing to learn and adapt;
• Is extremely reflective and constantly wants to improve;
• is flexible and enjoys dealing with unpredictability;
• A strong candidate will possess strong organizational skills communication skills (particularly with children) and problem solving skills;
• Interest in performing a critical support role and the ability to excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial results-oriented environment;

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma; Passion for working with K-12 students.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is $18 per hour.
