Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the practice including objective measures in a balanced scorecard approach.

• Schedules physician and staff personnel and manages leave requests

• Make recommendations regarding equipment and supplies needed to maintain efficient operations; order supplies and equipment as needed.

• Prepare and submit an annual budget

• Work with Marketing and Public Relations as needed to enhance public image of the clinic.

• Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system.

• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with patients visitors physicians. employees and coworkers

• Serves as the facilitys representative to the business community and public at large

• Plan new programs to be developed within the office. Researches and isolates opportunities and develops plans for Director review to market new or existing services the facilities may offer

• Daily balancing and bank depositing and invoice processing

• Must be able to conduct periodic audits of charts policies and procedures and/or direct this process for the entire facility.

• Responsible for interviewing hiring orientation development and evaluation of employees

Minimum Education Training and Experience Required:

• Associates degree in business or health care related field

• 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Excellent leadership analytical and project management skills as demonstrated by the ability to manage personnel and technical issues and the knowledge of financial analysis tools and PC skills.

• Must have an in-depth knowledge of the payor environment patient service delivery systems and federal/state rules and regulations regarding billing processes.
