Job Title: Practice Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Operations
Overview:
The Practice Coordinator supports the daily coordination of diagnostic radiology interventional radiology and vascular surgery practice operations including physician scheduling credentialing privileging onboarding compliance tracking provider readiness productivity reporting support and cross-functional operational communication. This role serves as a key liaison between physicians scheduling credentialing compliance finance billing revenue cycle Hospital Network stakeholders and administrative leadership to promote consistent coverage accurate information flow and efficient practice operations.
Essential Functions:
Monitor schedule gaps coverage risks and operational issues; escalate concerns and assist with practical solutions to support schedule reliability.
Support provider credentialing privileging enrollment licensure tracking onboarding itineraries required training modules IT/system access readiness and related follow-up activities.
Coordinate daily scheduling activities including schedule updates provider availability changes time-off tracking coverage adjustments staffing variances and communication of schedule changes.
Support physician scheduling templates to ensure appropriate diagnostic radiology coverage across sites modalities service lines and operational needs.
Maintain accurate provider rosters scheduling data operational records compliance documentation workflow status trackers and reporting support files.
Coordinate with physicians site leaders scheduling staff finance billing credentialing revenue cycle compliance Hospital Network partners and administrative leadership to support timely workflow completion.
Assist with physician productivity reporting staffing analysis coverage planning incentive compensation audit timelines Hospital Network citizenship expectations and operational data preparation for leadership review.
Support corporate compliance activities including required documentation exclusion checks policy adherence audit preparation and maintenance of compliance-related records.
Facilitate ongoing physician communication and education related to system upgrades coding compliance regulatory changes compliance requirements and operational workflows.
Identify opportunities to standardize workflows improve communication strengthen provider readiness reduce operational friction and support more consistent physician practice coordination.
Perform special projects and administrative support functions related to physician practice operations scheduling reliability onboarding compliance reporting and cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelors degree in healthcare administration business administration or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years of healthcare administrative physician scheduling credentialing compliance productivity reporting revenue cycle or physician practice operations experience required.
Prior project management and practice management experience preferred. Experience with physician scheduling platforms credentialing systems reporting tools electronic medical record systems compliance workflows billing processes and practice management platforms preferred.
