Job Summary

Clinical: Practice Assistant
Salem MA 01970

Temp-to-Perm: 3-month contract period prior to potential FTE conversion.
Urgency: Immediate start (12 weeks post-offer/onboarding clearance). Manager seeking pipeline/candidate submissions prior to the weekend.
Reason for Opening: Backfill due to employee departure.
Role & Department Details
Work Location: 100% Onsite 81 Highland Ave Salem MA (free parking available free shuttle services)
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily clinic operations ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Manage and schedule appointments consultations and follow-up visits for patients.
  • Maintain patient records ensuring accuracy confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee patient registration check-in and check-out procedures ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Supervise administrative staff providing guidance training and support as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of medical supplies equipment and other clinic resources.
  • Handle patient inquiries complaints and concerns resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to develop and implement clinic policies procedures and protocols.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology healthcare regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and other clinic management software.
  • Excellent organizational multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Required Education:
Bachelors Degree required
Degree in Healthcare Management or a related field
Experience cannot replace the education requirement.

Required Experience
35 years of Clinic Office or Hospital experience
35 years of Administrative Office experience
Preferred Experience
23 years of Leadership/Supervisory experience
