MOR PPM Inc. seeks qualified pipe fitters for a project in Knoxville TN.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Exp w/layout fabrication installation maintenance & repair of piping systems structural steel vessels pumps & industry environment.

  • Layout fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
  • Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes indentations or seams of fabricated metal products.
  • Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
  • Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and use power tools.
Qualifications
  • At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction setting
  • Committed to safety at all times
  • Excellent attendance
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
  • Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
