**Hybrid position -- only submit candidates local to the DMV**

CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing developing and implementing business solutions using Microsofts Power Platform suite including Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI. This role involves leveraging low-code/no-code capabilities to create custom applications automate workflows analyze and visualize data and enhance business processes. The developer will also support users optimize system performance and integrate various data sources and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Create custom applications using Power Apps to meet specific business needs including designing user interfaces workflows and data integrations.

2. Automating tasks and streamlining workflows using Power Automate including connecting various applications and services to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

3. Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights from data.

4. Integrating data from various sources (Dataverse SharePoint Azure databases etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and efficient analysis.

5. Ensuring that Power Platform solutions adhere to security protocols data governance policies and relevant regulations.

6. Providing ongoing technical support troubleshooting issues and optimizing Power Platform solutions for optimal performance.

7. Keeping abreast of the latest features updates and best practices within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

8. Working closely with business stakeholders analysts and other IT professionals to understand requirements gather feedback and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

9. Assist power users in developing their own solutions using Power Platform tools.

10. Ensure best practices are followed and provide documentation for procedures and solutions.

11. Implement solutions integrating multiple data sources and services including API and REST services.

Education:

Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science or related field Masters degree preferred
