Job Title: PostgreSQL DBA
Experience: 5-10 Years
Location: Logan UT Hybrid
Salary- $80-90k per Annum
Job Summary
We are looking for a PostgreSQL DBA to help support a growing PostgreSQL environment in Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills experience with PostgreSQL administration and performance and be comfortable participating in on-call responsibilities while working closely with team members and Software Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct database and table design reviews in GitHub.
Monitor database performance.
Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
Support database backup and recovery activities.
Support database replication.
Manage database security and users.
Participate in on-call and emergency support.
Required Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5-10 years of hands-on PostgreSQL experience.
Bachelors degree or higher or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with code reviews.
Strong scripting skills.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Experience with disaster recovery.
Experience with database replication.
Experience with user management.
Experience with PostgreSQL in a cloud environment preferably Azure.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
