Post Press Operator with Equipment Maintenance Expertise

As a Post Press Operator you will be responsible for operating routine manual and automated post-press functions including the use of basic bindery equipment and computer systems. Your skills in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment will ensure smooth production and high-quality output.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Des Plaines IL 60018
• POSITION: Contract
• PAY RATE: $20.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Perform complete equipment set-up and efficiently gather necessary materials.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and stock supplies to ensure continuous operation.
• Check order shipments stamp and proofread customer orders and generate labels accurately.
• Operate equipment productively while meeting job requirements for product accuracy ink coverage quantity and labeling.
• Maintain production operations by following company policies and procedures.
• Use powered hand trucks to assist in material handling as needed.
• Inspect products to verify compliance with order specifications and manifest orders accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in printing process and operations.
• Knowledge of Lean principles.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Experience operating powered hand trucks.
