Post Press Operator – Production and Quality Control

The Post Press Operator is responsible for operating manual and automated post-press equipment to meet production goals. This role involves ensuring product accuracy proper ink coverage correct quantities and adherence to labeling and shipping requirements to exceed customer expectations.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Des Plaines IL 60018
• POSITION: Contract
• PAY RATE: $20.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and gather materials efficiently to support production.
• Monitor and maintain stock supplies and equipment during operations.
• Check order shipments stamp and proofread customer orders and generate labels.
• Operate equipment productively to meet job requirements for quality and accuracy.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain smooth production operations.
• Use powered hand trucks for material handling as necessary.
• Inspect products to verify they meet order specifications and manifest orders accordingly.
• Ensure proper labeling sorting engraving special orders loading trucks and compliance with postal service and delivery standards.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years old or older and eligible to work in the USA.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in printing process and operations.
• Knowledge of Lean principles.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Experience operating powered hand trucks.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
