Job Summary
The PM Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe secure and welcoming environment for guests team members and visitors during afternoon and evening operations. This position protects hotel property responds to emergencies monitors security systems and delivers exceptional guest service while ensuring compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures.

- Patrol the property as required and ensure the security of hotel guests and assets.
- Act as property first responder to alarms medical calls etc. and maintain absolute confidentiality on sensitive issues.
- Conduct detailed internal investigations into incidents and provide detailed objective reports for each shift or incident.
- Detect and resolve immediate safety issues; respond to the scene of an incident and act as an emergency first responder if required.
- Maintain accurate notes and log information as required; ensure that all pass-on information is communicated to the next shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work closely with Front Office Engineering Housekeeping and other departments to resolve security-related concerns.
- Assist with lost and found procedures and maintain proper documentation.
Qualifications:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- Must possess required valid professional credentials (if required by state or local regulations).
- Valid certification in CPR/AED and first aid or the ability to obtain certification.
- Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving background/criminal history record.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to walk stand and sit 6-8 hours per day and may have exposure to basic office supply chemicals.
- The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach carry pull and lift up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and peripheral vision.

- While performing the duties of this job the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain wind heat humidity) and moderate to high noise levels.
