Volt is immediately hiring Plating Technician in Valencia CA.

As aPlating Technician you will:

• Responsible for inspecting cleaning and preparing parts for Cadmium plating.
• Performing chemical processing (hard chrome sulfamate nickel LHE cadmium plating) of landing gear components in accordance with company customer Nadcap and OEM policies and procedures.
• To work in conjunction with and provide technical support to fellow platers planners and lab technicians on matters relating to chemical processing.
• To ensure processing is documented in accordance with internal customer OEM and FAA requirements including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/ traveler bill of materials picture sheets and logs.

This is aFull-time Contract to Hireopportunity.

Qualifications:

• Requires previous employment experience for the services sought including practical experience with the procedures practices inspection methods materials tools and equipment generally used for maintenance activities performed by the repair station specifically as they relate to chemical processing.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 Per hour

Special Requirements:

• DOT/FAA Safety-Sensitive Position
• FAA drug screen required

1^st Shift: 6 am - 02:30 pm

2^nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
