Plant Operator

Including but not limited to the following:

• Comply with all Imerys MSHA and Equipment Manufacturing Safety Policies and Procedures.

• Read quality specification. Observe operation of equipment to ensure continuity of flow safety and efficient operation and to detect malfunctions.

• Move controls to start stop or adjust machinery and equipment that crushes and grinds materials.

• Record data from operations testing and production on specified forms and complete required forms.

• Examine materials products visually or with hands in order to ensure conformance to established standards.

• Perform tests applicable for process or product being produced set mill gauges to specified fineness of grind.

• Clean and adjust equipment using hand tools.

• Notify supervisors of needed repairs.

• Rocognize defective products and readjust equipment to eliminate problems.

• Able to understand and follow mill work instructions to ensure proper workflow and finished goods.

• Able to climb up and down stairs/ladders and maneuver around equipment and tight spaces.

• Any other job duties assigned by management.
