Plant Manager Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Facility
Location: Hobbs New Mexico
Salary: Up to $250000 per annum (DOE) Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance package On site 2/3 days per month except when needed (E.G. Upgrades)
Overview
We are seeking an experiencedPlant Managerto lead operations at a large-scalecombined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power generation facility. This role is ideal for a proven power generation leader with a strong background in plant operations maintenance strategy safety leadership and developing high-performing teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the facility ensuring safe reliable efficient and commercially successful plant operations while working closely with operations maintenance engineering and corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for plant operations maintenance and reliability initiatives.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements.
- Lead and develop plant personnel fostering accountability teamwork and operational excellence.
- Oversee maintenance strategies outage planning and long-term reliability initiatives.
- Partner with OEMs contractors and vendors to support plant performance and improvement projects.
- Monitor plant KPIs including availability efficiency reliability safety and budget performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations and maintenance functions.
- Provide leadership during major outages inspections and improvement projects.
Ideal Background
- Proven leadership experience as aPlant Manager Operations Manager or Generation Managerwithin a CCGT / gas turbine environment.
- Strong understanding of combined cycle plant operations including gas turbines HRSGs steam turbines and balance of plant systems.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of safety programs reliability improvement and outage execution.
- Ability to build relationships with internal teams contractors and external stakeholders.
